Jorge Rivera-Colon

Jorge is a Junior Marketing Analyst who joined our data team in June 2025. He works out of our Buffalo office, identifying ways to improve accounts through testing, tracking, and data analysis.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Jorge earned two master's degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison: an MS in Chemistry and an MS in Business Analytics. He is extremely proud to be a first-generation college student.

Before immersing himself in data analytics, Jorge conducted research in chemistry and educational sciences. His research experience includes the study of biominerals and their properties, and qualitative studies using critical theory. Conducting this research helped him forge his quantitative and qualitative skills, both of which he’s excited to apply in his data analytics role.

When he’s not in the office, Jorge loves giving back to his community by mentoring underrepresented students and motivating them to pursue their goals. He’s shared his own educational and professional journey by participating in several panels. 

Jorge also enjoys reading, watching TV, and Latin dancing, including Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. While he’s a self-proclaimed “scaredy cat” when it comes to horror movies, he does love horror podcasts – especially ones that analyze horror films through the lens of critical theory and anthropology.
