Sarah Payne

Sarah is a Junior Content Writer who joined Cypress North in January 2026, working out of our Rochester office. As a member of the content team, Sarah writes copy for ads, social media posts, and newsletters. She also helps outline, write, and edit long-form content for our clients.

Originally from Fairport, Sarah attended Ithaca College and graduated from the Roy H. Park School of Communications with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism. She also minored in history and anthropology.

Sarah was a student journalist throughout her four years at Ithaca and gained professional writing and editing experience through multiple internships, including one with Premier Travel Media. Her most recent internship was with the Digital News Team at Guinness World Records in London, where she pitched, wrote, and edited content and helped with web development. Sarah was recognized as a contributing staff member in the 2026 Guinness World Records Book.

Outside of work, Sarah is a member of the National Communication Honor Society of the National Communication Association. When she’s not writing and editing, Sarah enjoys being with friends, walking, hiking, and traveling – and has even climbed Mount Vesuvius.
