Project Goals
Ask for Whipped needed a way to keep their brand at the top of mind for shoppers. The company wanted to create awareness around their whipped icing product, showcasing it as a lighter alternative to other cake icing options.
They reached out to us for help building a new microsite and driving traffic to it organically so they could educate more consumers about whipped icing, encouraging them to ask about it at their local grocery stores. Once users got to the site, we needed to provide them with an interactive, entertaining site with a great scrolling experience.

Ask For Whipped
UI/UX Design
To complete this project, we need to expand the existing brand guidelines to include a more modern design for the UI/UX. We also worked to incorporate the brand’s mascot, Whippy Worldwide.
Custom Animation
We also used an image of Whippy the mascot and created a custom animation to bring personality to a microsite we built for Ask for Whipped.
Strategy & Positioning Document
The strategy and positioning document we put together for this project outlines the focus and goals we settled on for the microsite we were building. The document laid out:
- Personas & their buyer’s journeys
- The value Asked for Whipped offers customers
- The look and feel we wanted for the microsite
Design Direction Document
We also put together a design direction document that included crucial information on the anatomy of the site and the digital design, including the logo system, color palette, font, and site elements.
