Project Goals
A lot changed during the pandemic, and many companies needed to shift to better serve their clients. Rich’s USA wanted to do that by launching Rich’s Academy – a learning platform for clients and employees.
The goal was to create a free platform with educational content, including continued education courses and trainings, trends, insights, and live events. The platform would also give culinary professionals a direct line to Rich’s experts.

UI/UX Platform Design
We wanted to design a platform that would be a helpful, educational resource for culinary professionals, but also one that would be easy for the Rich’s team to update, add content, and interact with users. The site also had to support integration with the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Rich's wanted the site to provide an easy way for chefs to further their culinary education with access to on-demand content, consultation opportunities, and suggestions for relevant products or new product launches. A key goal of the project was also to keep a focus on the mobile experience users would get with the new site.

Discovery & Positioning
Through our discovery process, we determined the main goals for the new platform and outlined them in a positioning document. This helped us keep our objective in mind throughout the design and development of the platform – to provide custom experiences for each user to feel educated, informed, and supported.
